The perfect place for a hunting adventure!

Lobo Peaks’ guides take you through the best areas for maximum opportunities to hunt big! Lobo Peak Outfitting’s hunting territory is located 1.5 hours southeast of Prince George, BC, and spreads across 2200 square miles of prime hunting wilderness in northern BC. Lobo Peak also provides the option of transportation to and from the major airport that is in Prince George. That way, if you choose to fly in, you will not have to worry about rental cars and hotels while on your trip. You also get your choice between two beautiful camp lodges located on the property.

  • Stony Camp is the main camp located on Stefen Creek, just off Stony Lake. The log cabin provides a large eating area and comfortable lounging space around the woodstove. Four guest cabins are located behind the main cabin with wood stoves included. They sleep up to four people, with each group having its own cabin. There is also a shower house with hot and cold running water and a flush toilet. A large skinning shed with a walk-in cooler provides a perfect place for your meat after it’s been skinned and quartered. Generators are there and are used to run the lights and charge any equipment needing power for the hunts.
  • Neck Lake Camp Is Lobo Peak’s newest camp nestled in the woods all alone. It is located right on the shore of Neck Lake. The camp is a modern new construction made for a rustic appeal. It boasts indoor plumbing with hot showers, cozy gathering spaces, and large eating areas. Three isolated guest cabins sleep four people, each with wood stoves for heat. The close location to the lake makes it perfect to fish for Rainbow Trout all year long!

Choose Your Perfect Package!

You may be wondering, what exactly can I hunt at Lobo Peak? With a wide variety of packages to chose from, you get a chance to have the perfect hunting experience with your choice in-game. Lobo Peak offers an eight-day moose hunt that runs through September and October when the moose are rutting and the opportunity for the nicest bull is at its peak. The moose are true Canadian moose, with the average antler spread being 40-45 inches, with some going over 50 inches! You get the chance to use 4×4’s, ATVs, boats, and tree stands on top of regular hiking. With a wide variety of lakes, rivers, swamps, meadows, and clear cuts to hunt in. You can choose between 1-on-1 hunts or 2-on-1 hunts with varying price differences. As well as moose, the other antlered animal you can hunt is deer. With a five-day 1 on 1 hunt, you can enjoy the mid-November hunts when the snow is on the ground and the deer are in full rut. The deer in the area have heavy dark horns, with an average size buck being 140-170. *All hunts can include a wolf tag as an add-on if desired.

Predator Animals to Make Your Hunt Memorable!

If you are looking for something different than a moose or a deer, Lobo Peak has you covered! With an eight-day 1-on-1 guided trip, you could hunt for a cougar. Or for a five-day trip for lynx. Both cats are hunted during the winter months when their hair is thick, and their coloring is good. The cougars are trophy size, with some even approaching 200 lbs.! 4X4’s, snowmobiles, and ATVs are used to find the tracks the cats make, and from there Logo Peak will deploy the hounds! A team of trained and experienced hunting hounds is equipped with GPS collars so you can locate them while they get the cat in the tree before you go in for the kill. *Cougar and Lynx hunts can either be 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 or a combined package of one for each. *Wolf tags can also be added to both hunts.

With bears having a higher population than the other hunts in the area, this gives you a higher chance throughout the day to snag a trophy bear. Most of the bears here range from 6–7 feet tall nose to tail, and there is also a good population of color phase bears. Logo Peak offers a five-day spot-and-stalk Black Bear hunt that, because of the population, can be for springtime or fall. *This hunt can be guided 1 on 1 with the option to harvest a second bear and a wolf.

  • Spring hunts are in the farmer’s fields, south-facing slopes, and the sides of the logging roads where the grass will be greener. Since the Bears are right out of hibernation, their coats are at peak quality.
  • Fall hunts are in the old clear cuts and berry patches. They like to eat and fatten themselves up before they hibernate for the winter.

With the wide variety of choices for your hunt, Lobo Peak Guides and Outfitters is the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor experience unlike any other. Bring your friends, bring your family, your hunt will be one where your stories of adventure last a lifetime!
